Inpatient Services
Monrovia Memorial is a fully licensed and accredited acute care hospital. Under Medicare we have an additional designation as a ‘long term acute care provider’ (LTACH). As a specialized hospital, we are able to attend to short term patients as well as more medically complex long term care patients. Our expert staff at Monrovia Memorial Hospital is highly skilled in caring for patients who have more serious, long-term health issues that require the dedicated attention of an interdisciplinary team. With that, the focus of our physicians is to devise treatment protocols based on individual patient needs, irrespective of the patient’s length of stay. Therefore, we work closely with other acute care hospitals in the area for those special patients who require longer lengths of stay.
Cardiopulmonary Services
The Cardiopulmonary Department at Monrovia Memorial Hospital utilizes best practices in the care of our respiratory patient population. We have been awarded the “Quality Respiratory Care Designation” by the American Association of Respiratory Care. We are proud to be recognized by this national program which ensures patient safety by adhering to a strict set of criteria governing our respiratory services.

Here at Monrovia Memorial Hospital, our Spine and Orthopedic Surgery Program is comprised of highly trained and experienced surgeons complemented by our select staff of professional nurses and surgical technologists. Advanced spinal fusions, joint replacements and simple orthopedic procedures are performed in our fully equipped surgical suites.
